In Tuesday night’s web conference, Tom Brodie unveiled TWO brand-new uvme games currently in development, along with two new versions of current games coming soon, plus an update on the soon-to-be-released, brand-new “Blob Factory”.
There are new versions coming soon of pool (Speed Pool) and “Bubble Trouble”, which has lovely pre-rendered graphics. It also has hypnotic, trance like music that really suits the underwater scene, new animations, and “checkpoints” which you receive bonus points upon reaching.
The two newly announced games are “Mini-golf” (”Crazy Golf” in the UK) and “Battleships“. While these are only at the rough gameplay stage and need graphics before we can get screenshots, Tom has tried them out and thinks that based on the gameplay alone, they are going to be excellent, fun games to play.
After all, who doesn’t like mini-golf, trying to putt your ball around all the different wacky obstacles? And “Battleships” (also known as “Salvo” or “Broadsides”) has been around in one form or another since before WWI, so should be immensely popular too.
Tom provided an update on the other brand-new uvme game, “Blob Factory”, as well, saying it is in its last stages of testing and should be available for everyone to try on uVme.com within the next few weeks.
